Meet Our Guest Artists

This class will explore beginner level movement, rhythm, and expression with simple dance sequences and collaboration. Dancers will be introduced to Brain Dance and begin to integrate those principles into modern dance technique.

This class is a medium to high paced technique class emphasizing integration of modern technique, anatomy, Brain dance, polyrhythm, and poly-centrism. Class ends with phrase material with opportunity for composition and improvisation explorations.

This class can be offered as Introductory to Advanced facilitation of Contact Improvisation and Partnering. Students can expect to experiment with contact/partnering fundamentals and utilize those skills in an improvisational format.

This class can range from an introduction to advanced level improvisation or composition workshop. Students in improvisation workshops will engage with Chance Dance, Tuning Score, and experiments with on the spot dance-making. Students in composition workshops will play creating from an established theme or goal. Improvisation workshops can extend to composition workshops.
